How mixed page sizes are handled
The output uses the width of the widest source page. Narrower pages are centered horizontally, and all source heights are added together. Portrait and landscape pages can therefore create visible side margins even though their content remains complete.
If uniform edges are important, use Fix Page Size before combining. If the goal is merely to put several documents in one file while retaining normal pages, use Merge PDF instead.
Check viewer and printing limits
A very tall PDF page is convenient on screen but unusual for printers and some document viewers. Long reports can produce a page that opens or scrolls slowly, and applications may impose their own maximum page dimensions.
