Why 1PDF exists

Most online PDF tools ask you to upload your documents to their servers. That is a problem when your PDF contains a contract, a medical record, a bank statement, or anything else you would rather keep to yourself. 1PDF takes a different approach: the tools come to your files, not the other way around.

Every tool on this site runs locally in your web browser, powered by JavaScript and WebAssembly. When you “process” a file, your own device does the work — our servers only deliver the web page itself. This means:
