Convert PDF to Plain Text
Turn any PDF into a clean, editable TXT file. Every page of text is extracted in reading order with pages separated by blank lines — ideal for quoting long documents, feeding content into other apps, or archiving text without layout baggage. The extraction is performed entirely on your own device: your document is never uploaded, which makes the tool safe for contracts, manuscripts, and other private paperwork.

Frequently asked questions
Will the layout and formatting be preserved?
No — TXT is plain text by design. All wording is kept in reading order, but fonts, columns, and images are dropped. Use PDF to JPG if you need a visual copy.
Can it extract text from scanned PDFs?
Scanned pages are images without a text layer, so they produce no output. Only PDFs with real, selectable text can be converted to TXT.
Is my document uploaded to a server?
Never. Text extraction runs locally in your browser with client-side technology, so the file stays on your device from start to finish.
