Turn a static PDF into a fillable form. Place a text box or a checkbox on any page — name it, pick the page, and optionally set its exact position and size in PDF points measured from the bottom-left corner. Run the tool once per field to build up a complete application, signup sheet, or internal form. The new fields are real AcroForm fields: they work in Acrobat, browsers, and mobile viewers, and they can be filled programmatically with our Fill PDF Form tool. Frequently asked questions

Where is the field placed by default?

Without coordinates, the field appears near the left margin at the vertical center of the page. Set X and Y — in points from the bottom-left corner — to position it precisely.

Can I add more than one field?

Yes — run the tool again on the downloaded file with a new field name. Each run adds one field, and names must be unique within the document.

Will the fields work in every viewer?

The fields are standard AcroForm elements, so Acrobat, Preview, Chrome, and most mobile readers let users click into them and type or tick directly.
