Add Headers and Footers to a PDF
Give your documents a professional finish with a centered header at the top and footer at the bottom of every page. Add a company name, document title, or confidentiality note — and include automatic page numbering by typing {page} and {total} in the footer. It is perfect for reports, manuscripts, and legal filings. Stamping is done locally on your device, so unpublished drafts and private files are never exposed to a server.

Frequently asked questions
How do I add automatic page numbers?
Type {page} where the current number should appear and {total} for the page count — for example "Page {page} of {total}" prints "Page 2 of 10" on page two.
Can I add only a header or only a footer?
Yes. Fill in whichever field you need and leave the other blank — at least one of the two must contain text.
Where exactly is the text placed?
Headers are centered near the top edge and footers near the bottom edge of every page, in a small grey font that does not distract from the content.
