Add a Watermark to Your PDF
Stamp a custom text watermark — DRAFT, CONFIDENTIAL, SAMPLE, or your own wording — diagonally across every page of your PDF. The watermark is semi-transparent so the underlying content stays readable, and it is embedded permanently into the document. Because stamping runs entirely in your browser, even sensitive documents can be watermarked without privacy concerns.

Frequently asked questions
Will the watermark cover my content?
No. The watermark is rendered with low opacity behind your eyes but over the page — text and images remain clearly readable while the stamp stays visible.
Can recipients remove the watermark?
The watermark is drawn into the page content of the downloaded file, making it much harder to remove than an annotation. For maximum protection, flatten or rasterize afterwards.
Can I use an image as a watermark?
The current version supports text watermarks. Image watermark support is on our roadmap — meanwhile you can combine this tool with Edit PDF for logos.
